What are the precautions for CNC machining tools?

To ensure the accuracy of CNC machining, it is necessary to control the error of the tool. The processing of each precision mechanical part requires more than two tools. Today, combined with the experience of high-precision stainless steel CNC machining, we will introduce the precautions for tools:

1. After processing, it must return to zero

After the CNC machining program ends, the system will return the tool to the zero point. If the tool doesn't return, it's a problem with the control system. During cutting, the stepping motor runs at a low speed. When the program is processed, it is necessary to return the stepping motor. At this time, it is necessary to use a high-voltage drive power supply and run the stepper motor at high speed to increase the output torque, and the tool will automatically return to zero.

However, if the switch controlling the drive power is damaged, the high-voltage power supply cannot be turned on when returning to the zero point, and the torque of the stepping motor is too short, and the tool cannot return to the origin. This requires replacing the switch that controls the high voltage, which is a triode switch.

1. When the tool returns to the zero point, it must not be offside.

When the tool returns to zero, it must be checked for offside. The resistance of the transmission system of the CNC machining lathe is too large, and the tool is offside when it returns. This offside involves lost steps of the stepper motor. If the motor loses steps, it will cause offside when the tool returns to zero.

When cutting precision mechanical parts, a low-voltage power supply is used, the tool is fed at a low speed, and the torque of the motor is also small. If the resistance of the transmission system of the machine tool is too large, it is easy to lose steps. When the tool is reset to zero, it needs to be driven by high voltage, the motor runs at high speed, the torque is large, and it is in neutral, so it will not lose steps. Such a back and forth, losing a step but not losing a step, caused offside when returning to zero. At this time, according to the experience of high-precision stainless steel CNC machining, it is generally possible to adjust the reduction box of the motor to return to normal.
